Position Overview

As an enthusiastic Field Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our residential sales initiative, enhancing customer engagement. You will have the chance to inform potential clients about Mercury Broadband's dependable internet services and our expanding fiber network while fostering and nurturing new relationships. Enjoy the excitement of visiting rural neighborhoods and conducting face-to-face sales as you utilize your company-issued vehicle. This role allows you to blend your passion for relationship-building with the rewarding experience of delivering top-tier technological solutions to your community.

Position Type: Full-time with benefits

Compensation: Competitive annual earning potential, including commission, along with the use of a company vehicle for work-related tasks and reimbursement for mobile phone expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-Person Sales: Conduct visits to residential properties within assigned territories to introduce and promote our internet services.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a positive customer journey from the first interaction, addressing concerns and recommending suitable products.
  • Customer Engagement: Approach potential clients with professionalism and enthusiasm, engaging in meaningful discussions to understand their internet needs.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase the benefits of our internet services, addressing inquiries and objections effectively.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including sales agreements and customer contracts.
  • Accountability: Report activities and progress using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool provided.
  • Performance: Achieve monthly goals to expand your market reach.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles (Retail Sales, Telecommunications, etc.).
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate evenings and weekends as required.
  • Ability to present product offerings and explain services to potential clients.
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record.
  • Capability to walk long distances with regular breaks.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
