Position Overview

This role is pivotal in providing insights and assistance to potential members regarding the amenities, programs, membership processes, and pricing structures of our fitness facilities. Additionally, it involves educating both current and prospective members on the advantages of maintaining a consistent exercise routine.


On-Target Earnings: $48,000+ in the First Year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the company's profitability by driving new member acquisitions and ensuring retention.
  • Achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
  • Fulfill prospecting and sales objectives.
  • Complete all necessary documentation promptly.
  • Participate actively in scheduled sales meetings.
  • Engage in all staff and club gatherings and events.
  • Excel in a competitive, results-oriented atmosphere.
  • Collaborate closely with retention teams to promote high engagement in our facilities.
  • Build and sustain professional relationships with colleagues.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Expectations:
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times while representing Genesis Health Clubs.
  • Contribute ideas for strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Address common inquiries or concerns effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment.
  • Strong collaborative skills.
  • Experience with cash handling and credit transactions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Effective communication skills with guests and team members, including reading, writing, and speaking.
