Employee Benefits Account Management Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Benefits Account Management Executive to join our team at Cross Insurance. As a key member of our Major Accounts Division, you will be responsible for managing key relationships with our most complex clients, developing and implementing high-level employee benefits strategies, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive employee benefits strategies to meet the needs of our complex clients.
  • Manage key relationships with clients, including day-to-day client needs, issue resolution, and vendor partner management.
  • Work closely with our VP, Major Accounts to deliver elevated services to our clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, whether through phone, in-person, email, or written correspondence.
  • Assess client needs and provide advice on appropriate coverage levels and products.
  • Assist clients with documentation requirements, including review and consultation with client staff and legal counsel when necessary.
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve matters in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional products and services to our clients, increasing sales opportunities and meeting client needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on all products and services offered by Cross Insurance.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Required Job Skills:

  • 10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a client-facing leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with large, complex, strategic clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team structure.
  • Experience in building, fostering, and advancing relationships with primary client contacts.
  • Flexibility to be present, on-site, and in-person at client meetings in New England.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and understanding of social media platforms.
  • Efficient and creative in preparing materials to present to clients.
  • Proven experience managing complex employee benefits clients.
  • Strong customer service skills and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Life & Health Producer license. Consulting license preferred.
