About the Role

Coda Octopus Colmek, a leading engineering firm in the defense industry, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to drive the company's sales strategy and develop new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute a Comprehensive Business Development Plan
  • Identify and Close High-Value Sales Opportunities
  • Build and Maintain a Strong Sales Network
  • Lead Business Development Activities and Foster Strong Customer Relationships
  • Manage and Grow the Sales Pipeline
  • Develop Marketing Materials and Present Coda Octopus Products and Solutions
  • Conduct Competitive Analysis and Identify New Business Opportunities
Requirements:
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Knowledge of US Navy Organization and Acquisition Process
  • Demonstrated Success Selling to DOD Prime Contractors and Directly to the DOD
  • Experience with CRM Systems and Pipeline Management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field
  • Strong Understanding of Engineering Concepts
  • 5+ Years of Experience Selling Engineering Services in the DOD Space
  • Navy Experience Strongly Preferred
