We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Naumann/Hobbs Material Handling Corporation. Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation: Respond to leads from various sources, including the internet, manufacturers, and internal referrals, to identify potential customers who would benefit from our services.
- Sales and Marketing: Promote our company's product support capabilities by preparing, presenting, and selling preventative maintenance service agreements to prospective customers.
- Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Problem-Solving and Solutions Development: Analyze customer needs and develop solutions to meet their maintenance service requirements.
- Business Case Development: Create value propositions and business cases for change that win proposals and close service business.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with territory sales and operations personnel to increase sales skills and gain industry product knowledge, and provide clear communication to Sales Management through timely completion of call reports, quotes, and account profiles.
- Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Bachelor's Degree preferred with a focus on marketing or sales.
- Experience: Sales experience preferred but not required; industry experience a plus.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions on repairs, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills, ability to deal with difficult situations and maintain a positive attitude, ability to prioritize and multi-task between service calls, and valid driver's license with a good driving record.
