Job Summary

The Executive Director is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all interactions. This includes leading, implementing, and sustaining a culture of wellbeing, teamwork, and respect for residents and team members.


Key Responsibilities
  • Leads and manages a team of health care, hospitality, and business team members
  • Manages community budget, including labor standards and community level expenses
  • Ensures revenue and occupancy goals are achieved
  • Supports the Director of Health and Wellbeing in financial, human resources, and customer service areas
  • Works closely with food and beverage leadership to ensure high quality and exceptional customer service and ambience
  • Addresses escalated resident or guest complaints to ensure the highest level of customer service

Requirements
  • Currently licensed as an Assisted Living Director in the state of Minnesota, or ability to obtain required
  • Bachelor's degree in health care, hospitality services, finance, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of three years' of relevant experience in customer-oriented leadership
  • Previous experience in senior services preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality and service in elderly care
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, profit and loss statements, maximize revenue and manage expenses
  • Commitment to customer service and team member/resident wellbeing
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including effective relationship building, business acumen and communication
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience in negotiating and working toward mutually beneficial solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and bring a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and energy to the role
  • Ability to analyze and communicate financial information in a concise, professional manner
