Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Executive Vice Presidents and Vice Presidents to identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Analyze competitor strategies and industry developments to inform business development initiatives.
  • Track and analyze division accounts lost, identifying patterns and developing strategies to mitigate repeat losses.
  • Seek out new opportunities with new and existing clients, and assist directors with development of processes and reporting.
  • Support Account Executives with coaching, mentoring, and development, and mentor and coach the Target Sales Team.
  • Maintain awareness of reporting data that supports business goals, and be responsible for onboarding of Tier 1 & Tier 2 clients and customers.
  • Support Executive Vice Presidents and Vice Presidents at Tier 1 & Tier 2 industry events, and serve as Account Executive for 2-3 Tier 2 clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an Account Executive position, preferably within the food industry or food brokerage sector.
  • Working knowledge and experience calling on Target Headquarters – preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue growth.
