We also operate a 501(c)(3) foundation dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need.
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician who has experience in rehabilitation or is eager to explore the fulfilling field of animal rehabilitation. The best part? If you are not already certified in canine rehabilitation, we offer the opportunity to enroll in a company-sponsored canine rehabilitation school (valued at approximately $8k). Upon certification, your salary will be adjusted to reflect your new qualifications. YOUR ROLE AS A REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN:
In your role as a Registered Veterinary Technician, you will work closely with our veterinarians to develop and implement tailored treatment plans. You will engage in hands-on activities such as massage therapy, laser therapy, hydrotherapy, and therapeutic exercises. Your responsibilities will include assessing pain, gait abnormalities, and lameness, as well as establishing long-term goals for each patient. Additionally, you will provide post-operative rehabilitation, care for senior patients, and educate clients on home exercise programs. Accurate documentation of each patient's progress will be essential to ensure optimal outcomes.
