Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will enjoy an 8-hour day shift that promotes a healthy work-life balance. While we appreciate flexibility, there may be occasions where your presence is required on holidays and weekends.
Your day will begin with thorough examinations of your furry patients in one of our five fully-equipped examination rooms. Utilizing your acupuncture certification and veterinary expertise, you will diagnose and create tailored treatment plans for each pet's specific needs. Collaboration with our team of highly trained, rehabilitation-certified therapists will take place in our spacious area designed for floor exercises or in one of our three water treadmills. For advanced treatments, you will have access to therapeutic ultrasound, e-stim devices, and three Respond System lasers. Additionally, you will provide guidance to pet owners on pain management, hydrotherapy, traditional Chinese medicine, and the use of braces, prostheses, or carts as necessary.
Qualifications Required:
- DVM or equivalent degree with a valid veterinary license
- Certification in acupuncture
- Interest or certification in rehabilitation medicine
- Reliable commuting ability or willingness to relocate with employer assistance
