Job Overview: We are enhancing our Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Department and are in search of committed Veterinary Technicians to become part of our vibrant team. In this role, you will be essential in providing exceptional veterinary care to our patients. Your duties will encompass:
- Delivering compassionate and proficient nursing care to critically ill and injured animals.
- Supporting veterinarians during medical procedures, including triage, diagnostics, and treatment protocols.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and swiftly responding to any changes in their condition.
- Administering medications and treatments as directed by critical care specialists.
- Maintaining precise medical records and ensuring adherence to hospital standards.
- Collaborating with fellow veterinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification is mandatory.
- 2-3 years of experience as a veterinary technician, with a preference for those with emergency and critical care experience.
- Expertise in performing nursing tasks, such as venipuncture, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Dedication to providing outstanding patient care and client service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
