The Construction Services Division is seeking an individual who excels in high-pressure situations, enjoys engaging with clients, possesses excellent communication skills, and is adept at managing multiple tasks. Position: Construction Technician
Company: SERVPRO of Eastern Niagara County

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to service requests promptly and execute assigned duties in accordance with SERVPRO construction protocols.
  • Work alongside the Construction Superintendent to ensure all client needs are met.
  • Support the Construction Project Manager and team as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas.
Primary Duties:
  • Install drywall, insulation, flooring, and trim using various materials.
  • Install window frames, doors, hardware, and trim.
  • Set up scaffolding and ladders for elevated construction tasks.
  • Cut and shape materials to precise specifications.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a secure work environment.
  • Construct cabinets, frameworks, floors, and wooden fixtures.
  • Transport materials around the job site as needed.
  • Complete drywall finishing and painting tasks.
  • Clear debris from the worksite.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • 2-4 years of carpentry experience in commercial or residential environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and building plans.
  • Strong understanding of job site safety protocols.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Extended periods of walking, standing, driving, climbing, and sitting.
  • Aptitude for working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of materials.
