EquipmentShare is looking for a dedicated Shop Technician for our rental facility to oversee the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of customer and company-owned Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment.

Compensation:
$23 - $26 per hour (Based on experience)

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay applicable after 40 hours. Weekend on-call duty is required only in exceptional cases.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safe job practices while repairing equipment
- Utilize technology (laptops and tablets) proficiently
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution systems, HVAC units, and oil-free air compressors
- Diagnose equipment failures both in the shop and at customer locations, executing necessary repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians to set up and operate equipment in the shop and on-site
- Assist in training junior technicians as required
- Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) on a daily basis
- Support the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations is preferred
- Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training
- Undertake additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- Must possess tools relevant to the position
- Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of tools
- Experience with power generators and/or commercial HVAC systems, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with understanding schematics
- Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma; Trade school certification is preferred
- Prior experience in equipment service, maintenance, and repair is preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Must be capable of moving, standing, stooping, and bending freely
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- This position is safety-sensitive, and employment offers are contingent upon passing a 10-panel drug screening.
