Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Welcome and assist visitors to the office.
- Manage inventory and replenish office supplies as necessary.
- Handle incoming mail by sorting and distributing it appropriately.
- Process employee access requests and issue necessary passes.
- Maintain the office lunchroom by regularly restocking supplies.
- Generate shipping documentation for the logistics team.
- Communicate with clients regarding delivery updates.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs for office equipment.
- Manage purchase orders by receiving requests and archiving them.
- Handle sales and laboratory invoices, ensuring accurate records.
- Update the accounts payable database with relevant order information.
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm or modify orders as needed.
- Act as a liaison for shipping and receiving, ensuring product quality.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for vendor and customer transactions.
- Cross-check product deliveries against purchase orders and collaborate with Accounts Payable for processing.
- Provide backup support for Customer Service and Accounts Payable when required.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- An associate's degree or three years of relevant business experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Physical capability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
- A self-motivated and adaptable approach to work in a dynamic environment.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to communicate across teams.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn company-specific systems.
