**Job Function Summary**
The Front Desk Representative is the initial interface for potential students and is crucial to the overall image of the institution (professionalism, credibility, etc.). Initial questions are answered and determinations are made to properly screen and direct inquiries whether they are prospective students, partners, vendors, employees, or active students.
The Front Desk Representative will answer basic questions and screen initial applicants to ensure they understand program requirements and then enter their information into the system. Those individuals not initially ready to explore an education with Gurnick will be placed in the lead pipeline for parallel path activities (lead nurturing) such as invitations to future events, seminars, educational newsletters, etc. It is critical that any promises or commitments made for information are noted in the system to-do list and followed through on in a timely manner.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Answer basic questions and screen initial applicants
• Enter applicant information into the system
• Provide information on program requirements
• Place individuals in the lead pipeline for parallel path activities
• Follow up on promises and commitments made to applicants
**Requirements:**
• High School Diploma required, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1 year of previous front desk experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time
• Salary: DOE
