Key Responsibilities

BambooHR is seeking an innovative sales strategist to drive our growth in the international market. As the International Sales Executive, you will oversee a team of sales managers, guiding them to achieve and surpass sales objectives while nurturing their professional growth. Your role will encompass coaching and mentoring your sales managers and their teams throughout their development journey. Our robust training program will support all new sales personnel in their initial weeks, complemented by assistance from our experienced sales coaches and resources.

Moreover, you will collaborate closely with the leadership team on operational initiatives, strategic projects, and overall departmental expansion, ensuring we continue to prosper and excel. This is a pivotal moment for BambooHR, and we anticipate the significant contributions you will make.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Crafting and executing our strategy for international market expansion.
  • Leading, developing, and managing a team of International Sales Managers and their Account Executives in the SMB sector.
  • Formulating and implementing sales forecasting strategies for Managers and Account Executives to achieve revenue targets on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Building partnerships and fostering relationships with cross-functional teams to enhance communication and drive results (Marketing, Rev Ops, Sales Enablement, Sales Development, etc.).
  • Empowering your team; you will mentor Sales Managers to enhance their leadership capabilities and support their career growth.
  • Collaborating with other directors and teams to share innovative practices and insights.
  • Acting as a sales advocate by actively supporting team members with significant deals and providing guidance to close transactions.
  • Working with Sales Managers to motivate team members by analyzing data to identify development opportunities and coaching to replicate successful behaviors.
  • Managing team structure and headcount, collaborating with HR to plan for future staffing needs to build a high-performing sales team.
  • Taking ownership of team culture and fostering strong relationships with managers and representatives to enhance team morale.
  • Addressing and managing team attrition, HR escalations, and performance improvement plans.

Qualifications We Value:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in SaaS sales leadership, with a proven success record.
  • Experience in managing international sales teams in the SaaS industry, particularly in Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
  • Preferred experience in SMB SaaS sales.
  • Expertise in establishing and scaling sales processes and frameworks.
  • Strong skills in time management and prioritization.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Proven ability to build and motivate sales teams, analyze sales trends, and monitor performance to achieve revenue goals.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of garnering support from both direct and indirect teams to drive collective success.
  • Ownership of the international sales organization and decision-making responsibilities.
  • Ability to articulate a vision and gain buy-in through collaboration and mentorship.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A highly motivated individual with a focus on execution and a strong belief in BambooHR's mission.
  • Expertise in various solution-selling methodologies with a successful track record in the SMB SaaS sector.
