About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at the American Red Cross. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth from mid-sized and large accounts within assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell Training Services products and services to corporate, government, and/or non-profit customers, seeking and acting upon leads and building relationships with potential customers to bring them to close.
  • Identify business and growth opportunities using an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business, increasing client and revenue base by contacting, qualifying, proposing, and closing new business with high-value prospects.
  • Ensure productive and professional relationships with prospective customers.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships while operating as a key point of contact with Top Tier accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive decision makers.
  • Explore and build partner relationships with OneRedCross partners to develop and/or enhance business alliances (Chapter staff, Blood Services).
  • Responsible for attaining assigned sales volume and revenue objectives.
  • Responsible for operating within prescribed budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of successful experience in a B2B sales and/or product marketing position. EMT-B/EMT-P certification preferred. Emergency Services industry experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • A current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required.
  • Knowledge of and experience in applying field sales techniques.
  • Proven executive-level sales skills and ability to acquire and manage large accounts.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs and/or similar client relationship management applications.
  • Ability to travel 50-90%. Must have reliable transportation for regional travel.

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in emergency services.
  • Strong EMS sales experience.
  • Preferred experience in Salesforce.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
