Inside Sales Representative Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at JM HUNTER GROUP. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and revenue for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and Nurture Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors, residential, and commercial builders to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities.
  • Identify and Pursue New Sales Prospects: Utilize industry knowledge and market trends to identify potential sales opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide prompt and professional service to customers, addressing inquiries and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with Outside Sales Team: Work closely with the outside sales team to develop strategies for boosting sales and expanding the client base.
  • Stay Informed and Adaptable: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to remain competitive and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate and timely recording of sales and customer interaction data in our CRM system.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally in the building materials sector.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, proven history of meeting and surpassing sales targets, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
