Industrial Equipment Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Equipment Sales Representative to join our team at BF Sales Engineering Inc. as a key player in driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients and suppliers in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Existing Accounts Management:
    • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's manufacturing processes, key contacts, preferences, and decision-making processes.
    • Maintain regular communication with existing customers to understand their needs and opportunities.
    • Provide technical expertise as needed to support customers.
    • Identify and develop a strong relationship with key decision-makers in every facility.
    • Offer service and repairs, including on-site start-ups and installations, as required.
  • Outside Sales:
    • Qualify new leads assigned by the sales manager and develop creative strategies to make contact with key decision-makers.
    • Build relationships with key players in each lead company to understand their needs and opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Invest in ongoing training and development with major suppliers to stay up-to-date on product capabilities and nuances.
    • Develop positive relationships with supplier sales, engineering, and product managers.
    • Leverage supplier support, leads, and training as needed.
    • Understand other products sold or potentially sold to customer segments to expand offerings.
  • Strategy and Planning:
    • Set quarterly sales strategies for customer segments.
    • Develop and execute plans to achieve sales targets.
    • Contribute to long-term sales strategies and plans for customer segments.
  • Organizational Involvement:
    • Embody company values and culture in daily work.
    • Contribute to creating a high-performance team.
    • Attend segment and cross-sales team meetings to add value to decision-making processes.
