Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the operations of one of our Head Start centers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, communicating with parents and the community, and supervising and training staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the Head Start center, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, community members, and staff to build strong relationships and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff, providing coaching and guidance to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, making data-driven decisions to drive improvement and growth.
  • Collaborate with the Early Childhood Education Coordinator to develop and implement program strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Child Development Site Supervisor Permit required; CLASS certification preferred.
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification required.
  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience in a child development program.
  • Strong supervisory, leadership, and communication skills, with experience in conflict resolution.
  • Minimum of two years of direct experience as a Teacher working with young children, with 3-5 years of experience in a preschool setting, serving a culturally and ethnically diverse population.
