Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced MEP Construction Coordinators for a prestigious construction firm. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in managing the mechanical and electrical construction aspects of critical facilities, including data centers and similar projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all Mechanical and Electrical Trade contractors and vendors.
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation throughout all phases of construction.
  • Develop comprehensive project scopes and schedules, while effectively managing change orders and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Monitor the installation and commissioning of MEP systems, collaborating closely with engineers and project owners.
  • Lead the MEP team and trade partners from the initial groundbreaking through to project completion and handover.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, specifically with complex mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, along with managing project costs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management and supervision of subcontractors.
  • Experience in overseeing MEP system installation, start-up, and commissioning projects.
