Job Overview

Are you ready to elevate your professional journey? PDS Tech is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist with exceptional Excel skills to enhance our vibrant Procurement Department. In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers to accurately predict demand, place orders, and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and achieving inventory efficiency goals.

Position Title: Supply Chain Specialist
Employment Type: Full-time; Contract (open-ended/long-term)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 1st shift
Compensation: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • 15%: Oversee operational and commercial performance, taking full responsibility for one or more product lines concerning inventory planning and material availability.
  • 15%: Manage stock levels to optimize material availability while minimizing inventory levels.
  • 15%: Analyze market data to forecast customer demand accurately.
  • 15%: Initiate purchasing of materials based on demand forecasts and inventory assessments.
  • 15%: Maintain global stocking policies to ensure the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantities.
  • 10%: Prepare and present KPI reports.
  • 15%: Collaborate with Product Managers and Procurement Specialists.

Decision-Making Complexity:

  • Conduct routine inventory analysis to meet supply chain objectives (stock out%, turn rate, inventory costs, on-time delivery%).
  • Utilize forecasting skills to determine appropriate stock levels for anticipated demand.
  • Complete business cases to justify additional inventory investments for new or existing product lines.
  • Demonstrate a high level of independent decision-making and expertise to operate with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of supply chain management principles.
  • Ability to create, present, and interpret complex data.
  • At least 2 years of experience in aviation material management, customer service, sales, or related fields.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP APO, Microsoft Suite, and other relevant business analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry and supply chain management is advantageous.

Compensation Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
