Key Responsibilities
  • The Personnel Security Program Manager will effectively engage with senior management and demonstrate expertise in leading dynamic teams of ten or more personnel.
  • Experience in managerial and supervisory roles is essential, including the ability to formulate an organizational strategy that aligns with the client's mission and vision. Innovation and the ability to advocate for new ideas are critical.
  • Familiarity with collaborating with government entities and industry partners to establish best practices, processes, and protocols is required.
  • The Personnel Security Program Manager will support the client in revising and providing feedback on security policies, including joint agreements and other initiatives.
  • Updating local policies in compliance with the latest Intelligence Community and Department of Defense directives will be a key responsibility.
  • Oversight of personnel engaged in assessing and supporting the clearance eligibility of contractors and client staff will be a primary duty.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in security management, with at least 10 years specifically in Personnel Security operations, encompassing investigations, continuous evaluations, suitability assessments, and quality assurance programs.
  • A Bachelor's degree in management, security, or a related discipline, or 15 years of relevant security management experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in crafting formal written communications and delivering presentations at the executive level.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • 5 years of experience with collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) security regulations.
  • 10 years of experience in risk management processes.
  • While expertise in personnel security is essential, a broad knowledge of all security domains—physical, industrial, information, personnel, and cyber security—is expected.
  • Experience in managing the execution of formal Intelligence Community polygraph programs is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with IT professionals to track and document SIMS system requirements is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in developing SIMS security-related training and proficiency in SIMS database management is preferred.
  • A proven track record of managing a Special Security Office (SSO) is advantageous.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • General experience and familiarity with SIMS Software is beneficial.
