Job Description

Job Summary:

The Program Manager/ISSO Team Lead is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the implementation and execution of our Enterprise ISSO Program. This position involves managing resources, ensuring compliance with federal and TSA-specific cybersecurity requirements, and providing executive-level mission support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Lead and manage the TSA ISSO program, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate and facilitate bi-weekly and monthly meetings with TSA CORs to review program status, discuss issues, and clarify priorities.
  • Training and Development: Ensure all ISSO personnel are trained and maintain current knowledge of TSA security requirements and federal cybersecurity policies.
  • Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Develop and implement quality assurance and risk management plans to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit monthly program management and performance reports, detailing progress, milestones, and any issues encountered.
  • Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic guidance on security controls, ongoing authorization activities, and assessment and authorization (A&A) processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
  • Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of NIST RMF, FISMA, and other relevant federal cybersecurity policies. Strong communication skills and ability to interact with executive-level stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clearance: Secret Clearance.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of ITIL and agile methodologies.
