Position Overview

Peraton is in search of a Senior Program Manager to enhance our team of skilled and diverse professionals. The successful candidate will provide a spectrum of technical, financial, and program management support to ensure the effective management of CBP Enterprise Network Architecture Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all facets of successful task order delivery while ensuring an exceptional customer experience for CBP.
  • Act as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Serve as the main liaison with government program authorities and representatives regarding technical and program/project matters.
  • Oversee the execution of various related projects, which may be categorized by technology, program, or client.
  • Accountable for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of major programs or multiple programs through subordinate program/project managers, adhering to contract stipulations and company policies.
  • Delegate tasks and provide necessary technical guidance to complete assignments.
  • Monitor contracts, subcontracts, and funding; prepare forecasts for program financial performance.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and performance goals; conduct requirements reviews and information analysis, including cost-benefit assessments.
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple projects to meet a common program objective, ensuring timely resolution of issues and total customer satisfaction.
  • Guarantee compliance with client-specific project management lifecycle processes, including governance, technical reviews, and project documentation.
**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or five (5) years of experience in a technical field with a bachelor's degree in another area, or eight (8) years of experience without a bachelor's degree.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Current CBP Full Background Investigation (BI) preferred or the ability to complete the CBP Full Background Investigation (BI) as mandated by contract.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of management experience in organizing, directing, and overseeing contract operation support functions and multiple complex, interrelated projects for a large Federal agency.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in networking and information technology, as well as Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Required Certifications:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • ITIL v3 Foundation (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with DHS/CBP.
  • Certifications:
    • Scrum Master (CSM)
    • SAFe Agile Certification
    • One or more Cloud Certifications (AWS, Google, Microsoft, etc.)
