Position Overview:

Accurate Personnel LLC is in search of a dedicated and skilled Distribution Center Manager to lead the daily operations of our logistics facility. This pivotal role is essential for achieving financial and operational objectives while upholding exemplary standards across all facets of the distribution process. The Distribution Center Manager will be instrumental in crafting and executing operational strategies, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring the seamless movement of products throughout the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily functions of the distribution center, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and implement operational plans that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Manage financial reporting and budget adherence for the distribution center.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all levels of staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and a thorough understanding of distribution center operations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 10 lbs and to perform occasional climbing.

Team Leadership:

  • Establish work procedures and schedules to enhance operational workflow.
  • Provide clear instructions and assign tasks to team members, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Standardize operational procedures to boost efficiency and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Address employee grievances and resolve issues to maintain a positive workplace culture.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of managers overseeing departmental supervisors and a diverse workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
  • Conduct training, performance evaluations, and manage employee relations.
  • Design and implement effective management procedures to optimize distribution center operations.

Warehouse and Inventory Management:

  • Strategically plan the layout of the warehouse, considering inventory turnover and storage needs.
  • Oversee financial management of the warehouse, ensuring budgetary targets are met.
  • Develop and implement production planning processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Guide staff on proper inventory handling and storage practices.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Analyze inventory records and recommend actions for slow-moving or excess stock.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in inventory management practices.
  • Coordinate special inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Investigate discrepancies in inventory records to ensure integrity.
