Position Overview:

Accurate Personnel LLC is in search of a dedicated and skilled Distribution Center Manager to lead the daily operations of our logistics facility. This role is vital for achieving the financial and operational objectives of the center while upholding exceptional standards in all distribution activities. The Distribution Center Manager will be instrumental in formulating and executing operational strategies, overseeing financial documentation, and ensuring the seamless movement of products within the warehouse.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of daily operations within the distribution center.
  • Develop and implement effective operational plans to enhance productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting and budgetary constraints.
  • Facilitate the efficient flow of goods and maintain inventory accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in distribution center management is preferred.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and familiarity with logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to lead a diverse team and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical capability to lift items as needed.

Leadership and Management:

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of subordinate managers and staff.
  • Establish work procedures and schedules to optimize workflow.
  • Provide guidance and training to ensure staff effectiveness.
  • Address employee concerns and maintain a positive workplace atmosphere.

Warehouse and Inventory Oversight:

  • Design the layout of the warehouse for optimal storage and efficiency.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure adherence to budgetary goals.
  • Implement inventory management processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Advise staff on best practices for handling and storing products.

Operational Excellence:

  • Analyze inventory records and recommend improvements for stock management.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures and inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee periodic inventory checks to maintain stock integrity.
  • Investigate discrepancies in inventory records and implement corrective actions.
