Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a Bakery Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods and desserts that meet our standards of excellence. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all products are prepared and presented to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fry donuts, place toppings, and decorate pastries and bread as needed
  • Carry out kitchen operations and productions, including baking recipes and preparing desserts
  • Perform general oven duties, such as checking dough conditioner
  • Prepare all necessary materials and ingredients
  • Scale and shape breads, loaves, and pastries
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to sanitation procedures and regulations
  • Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas
  • Inform supervisors of equipment malfunctions and low food supplies
  • Complete production, usage, and waste reports
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Knowledge of food production processes, sanitation, and quality programs
  • Understanding of food producing techniques, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practices
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Food safety, food labeling, and nutrition knowledge (including FDA regulations)
  • Confectionery or Foods major preferred
  • Food Handler's Certificate preferred
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to work with diverse teams
  • Team player with a collaborative and engaged teamwork environment
  • Excellent knowledge of and commitment to Paris Baguette's Mission, Vision, Brand Values, and Culture
