The Business Development Representative is a key member of our team at Summit BHC, responsible for driving growth and expansion of our services. This role requires a strong understanding of the local market and referral base, as well as the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement business development programs in consultation with the Director of Business Development (DBD)
- Maintain a schedule of primary sources, including business, industry, EAPs, managed care clients, physicians/licensed practitioners, and allied health professionals
- Document every contact in the appropriate Customer Management Relationship system
- Maintain current account information and business development referral/admission records and statistics
- Develop and maintain new account relationships and markets
- Target and create new strategies for increasing business in highly competitive markets
- Develop strong relationships with key referral sources
- Represent the facility at civic and professional functions and communicate mission in all outreach interactions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Behavioral Health, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare business development/marketing environment
- Good understanding of the local market and referral base
- Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatments
- Organized and demonstrate the ability to multitask and have well-developed and effective relational skills
