Business Development Representative

Job DescriptionThe Demand Generation Specialist will be responsible for partnering with our PA sales team and account executives to uncover and qualify net new opportunities. They will use phone calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn touchpoints to establish relationships with public administration stakeholders and uncover their pain points, technology initiatives, and timeframes for purchasing.
Responsibilities:- Partner with our Public Administration Account Executives to uncover and qualify net new opportunities for our Core PA products.
- Initiate and lead recurring territory strategy meetings with each of your Account Executives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales Leadership to help craft and hone our messaging and target audience.
- Participate in the planning and creation of our greater business development strategy and support the creation and execution of marketing and BDR campaigns.
- Research and understand the Total Addressable Market (TAM) in each of your territories.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related fields.
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Strong understanding of CentralSquare's mission, values, and products.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Coachable, driven, and hard-working.
- Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning.
- Previous public sector experience.
- Understanding of public sector procurement vehicles and the RFP process.
