Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfillment of Orders: Accurately pick and pack orders within the required timeframe to meet customer deadlines.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate counts and documentation of inventory levels, ensuring that materials are properly stored and easily accessible.
  • Material Requests: Complete departmental material requests in a timely manner, communicating with team members and supervisors as needed.
  • Warehouse Operations: Load and unload trucks, complete quick ship orders, consolidate, and perform cycle counts as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Material Handler Facilitator.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights in a Swing-Reach truck, and perform tasks that require standing, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs and/or ladders.
  • Communication Skills: Read and comprehend written and spoken instructions, and effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
  • Education and Experience: 1 year of material handling and/or warehouse experience, with a preference for experience working in SAP TekRF scanners and operating a forklift and/or Swing-Reach Turret truck.
