Job Overview:
The Percussion Ensemble Advisor is responsible for guiding and supporting student participants in their musical endeavors. This role involves overseeing student conduct during events and ensuring a productive and positive environment for all involved.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide mentorship to students in developing their performance skills.
  2. Supervise student behavior during ensemble activities.
  3. Oversee the organization and administration of the percussion ensemble.
  4. Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for student musicians.
  5. Plan and coordinate seasonal activities in line with district policies.
  6. Manage the scheduling and preparation of facilities for events, collaborating with relevant offices.
  7. Perform additional duties as required.
Specific Duties:
  1. Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and policies governing student activities.
  2. Assist in the recruitment and evaluation of assistant advisors as needed.
  3. Implement safety measures to protect students and resources.
  4. Recommend necessary equipment and supplies to enhance the program.
  5. Promote discipline and sportsmanship among participants.
  6. Lead and supervise all activities related to the ensemble.
Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in percussion activities.
  2. Familiarity with district policies and codes related to student activities.
  3. Understanding of relevant state and federal regulations regarding student conduct.
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  5. Strong communication skills for interaction with various stakeholders.
  6. Capability to follow directives and collaborate with others.
  7. Commitment to enhancing student engagement in extracurricular activities.
  8. Physical capability to fulfill job requirements.
Compensation:
Compensation will align with the established agreements for educational staff.
