Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Warehouse Operations team at Veolia North America. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of materials and orders within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfillment: Receive, store, and ship materials and products in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing electric forklifts and Swing-Reach turret trucks.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts, consolidate inventory, and maintain accurate records to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload trucks, complete quick ship orders, and perform other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Material Handler Facilitator.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of warehouse activities.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights in a Swing-Reach truck, and perform tasks that require standing, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs and/or ladders.
  • Communication Skills: Read and comprehend written and spoken instructions, and effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge and skills, with experience in SAP and TekRF scanners a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 1 year of material handling and/or warehouse experience, with experience operating a forklift and/or Swing-Reach Turret truck in a manufacturing area.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
