POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Data Analyst supports the Supply Chain team and Supply Chain operations within Halozyme by performing a variety of data transactions, analyses and reporting activities that support supply and its related business and financial processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform transactions and data entry in Halozyme's ERP system (Epicor).
  • Collect production updates and details from manufacturing sites and record in Halozyme systems as required.
  • Collect shipment and sales details from warehouse/3PL sites and record in Halozyme systems as required.
  • Support data analysis and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), other metrics and other business reports.
  • Support data collection, retention and archiving.
  • Execute variety of data entry, updates and reporting in support of various financial processes (e.g., Month-End Close)
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree (or academic studies in progress) preferred
  • Prior experience or knowledge of Supply Chain processes and concepts preferred
  • Experience working with an ERP/MRP system is a plus
  • Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite and particularly in the use of spreadsheets
  • Fast learner and able to quickly pick up complex tasks
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable and committed to flawless and effective execution of assigned responsibilities

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, be at a desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer the telephone and type on a computer. Some walking and lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Laboratory Activities, if applicable: Biology and chemical laboratory environments experience needed. Environmental health and safety requirements also apply.
