Job Summary

Nordson Corporation is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will apply plastics engineering knowledge and develop practical process expertise for a wide portfolio of extruded, blow-molded or configured products in a customer-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate within the Quality Management System
  • Demonstrate capability to efficiently learn, grasp the technical nature of processes, contribute, and achieve positive business results
  • Ensure that product specifications are met in accordance with process specifications
  • Conduct product tests and complete assigned technical studies
  • Support lead engineer(s) in various projects and assignments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree – Plastics Engineering (preferred), Materials Science / Chemical Engineering (considered)
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and positive business results leading to increased responsibilities
  • Practical experience extruding, blow molding, expanding, cutting, manipulating, optimizing, and/or testing of polymers
