Position Overview:
As the Manager of Facilities Engineering Operations, you will lead the Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance Teams, dedicated to addressing various manufacturing and equipment challenges within the aerospace sector. Your role will encompass project management for equipment, enhancements to critical infrastructure, and providing expert technical guidance on industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Champion 6S methodologies and prioritize plant safety initiatives.
2. Oversee an annual CAPEX budget of approximately $10 million.
3. Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to enhance key maintenance performance metrics.
4. Ensure all equipment is functional and adheres to safety standards.
5. Act as the Secondary Emergency Response Coordinator.
6. Manage capital project teams, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets.
7. Supervise vendor and contractor engagements to guarantee quality and compliance with company protocols.
8. Ensure team compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
9. Serve as the primary contact for resolving downtime issues.
10. Develop project presentation materials for executive review.
11. Collaborate with various teams to meet diverse objectives.
12. Maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers, representing the company favorably.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience in procurement or working with industrial machinery.
- Proven ability to manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred:
- Familiarity with furnaces, pressure vessels, and related foundry equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and machine design principles.
- Understanding of robotics and control systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Experience supervising engineers and technicians.
- Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, ISO, and NFPA safety standards.
