Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Claims Processing Manager to join our team at FreezPak Logistics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a pivotal role in managing the freight claims process, ensuring effective communication, and driving resolutions. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire claims/OS&D lifecycle, from initiation to settlement, with a strong emphasis on customer service and stakeholder relationship management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the freight claims process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of claims.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and claimants.
- Conduct thorough investigations and analysis of claims, identifying root causes and developing strategies for resolution.
- Negotiate claims with represented and non-represented claimants, utilizing strong negotiation skills and analytical thinking.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of claims.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in claims and insurance processing of cargo issues.
- Strong knowledge of cargo insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Experience handling total loss cargo damage claims.
- Good negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions to complex claims issues.
