Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Relations Manager to join our team at Adaptive Biotechnologies. As an IT Business Relations Manager, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining critical business unit relationships across our ever-evolving IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align and drive IT services and products with business objectives.
  • Leverage your excellent oral and written communication skills to facilitate dialogue, clarify needs, and articulate how IT can support the business unit's requirements.
  • Closely collaborate and negotiate with key Adaptive decision makers to drive innovation and enhance efficiency across IT and the respective business units.
  • Maintain internal infrastructure requirements.
  • Interact with the help desk and business units to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
  • Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
  • Ensure the security and protection of company systems and data by maintaining compliance with Adaptive security and information handling policies.
  • Create and implement strategies to meet business units' IT objectives; drive critical success measures and KPIs to help ensure goals are met.
  • Negotiate contracts with partners and clients.
  • Develop roadmaps and support IT Portfolio planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree + 7 years of related experience.
  • 5-7 years of industry experience with a proven track record of success in developing and managing relationships with business partners and clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills; ability to recognize and resolve disputes quickly.
  • Understanding of basic project management principles and best practices.
  • Foundational understanding of IT Cloud and infrastructure concepts.
  • Ability to deeply collaborate across teams to produce overall solution and desired outcomes.
  • Process improvement capabilities and skills (Value stream mapping, PDCA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years as an IT project manager.
  • Previous IT Business Analyst experience.
  • Seattle-based and in-office minimum of three days per week.
Working Conditions

Office setting in which standing and/or sitting in front of a computer, engaging with others via teleconference calls and in person when in the office.

Compensation

Salary Range: $113,500 - $170,300

Possible other compensation elements to include:

  • Equity grant.
  • Bonus eligible.
