Job Summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks an experienced Administrative Manager to oversee the administrative functions of the Process Industry Practices (PIP) consortium. The successful candidate will provide strategic support to the PIP Director and ensure the efficient operation of the consortium.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the publishing of PIP Practices, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage administrative support services, including procurement, budgeting, and accounting.
  • Coordinate with internal and external vendors to ensure operational adherence with university policies.
  • Supervise editorial staff and administrative support staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies for project improvement and report on results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of experience supervising staff.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management, project, and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and work of others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing and maintaining websites.
  • Experience on publishing and auditing third-party distributors.
  • Five (5) years of experience working with volunteers.
  • Working knowledge of UT purchasing and budgeting rules, procedures, and business systems.
Salary Range

$75,000 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions
  • May work around standard office conditions.
  • Duties require occasional, regular travel outside of Austin, Texas.
  • Periodically requires an irregular work schedule with longer than average workdays and work hours that exceed a regular work week.
