Position Overview:
Are you dedicated to delivering outstanding support and care to pet owners and their beloved animals? We are seeking a Customer Care Specialist to become an integral part of our veterinary team. As a vital member of our organization, you will be the welcoming presence that assists clients, manages appointment scheduling, and guarantees a seamless and pleasant experience for everyone involved. Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Interaction: Provide exceptional service to clients through in-person interactions, phone calls, and emails. Ensure all necessary documentation and consent forms are completed prior to services and deliver discharge paperwork along with after-care instructions post-appointments.
  • Information Management: Collect, document, and relay comprehensive pet health information. Coordinate clinic schedules and ensure efficient handling of client and patient paperwork. Address customer inquiries and communicate any maintenance or supply needs to your supervisor.
  • Team Support: Assist veterinary personnel with the intake and discharge processes. Maintain an organized and clean lobby area.
  • Cultural Contribution: Promote an inclusive work environment by embodying the organization's values and mission. Advocate for a culture of safety and encourage meaningful volunteer participation.

Qualifications:
  • Attendance: Consistent and reliable attendance is essential, with the ability to work during operational hours, including weekends.
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer usage, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Adaptability: Ability to maintain professionalism and attention to detail in various situations while demonstrating a willingness to assist.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Physical and Emotional Resilience: Capable of managing the physical and emotional demands of working in a veterinary clinic and animal shelter environment.
