Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Zoetis diagnostic offerings to effectively educate and support our customers and train the diagnostic field team.
  • Enhance and solidify relationships with medical leaders in key accounts in collaboration with local sales teams.
  • Create educational plans focused on diagnostics for customers and mobilize Zoetis resources to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison to coordinate educational, scientific, and business support across significant customer hospitals.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with a requirement of at least 65%, including some weekend and overnight commitments.

Primary Duties

Medical Relationships and Education

  • Collaborate with local sales teams to design educational programs for key customers, ensuring they are well-informed on critical therapeutic areas.
  • Establish connections with medical and field leadership within key accounts.
  • Work alongside various teams to develop effective educational and promotional programs for diagnostics.
  • Partner with internal teams to facilitate the adoption of Zoetis diagnostic products.
  • Gather and analyze information regarding customer needs and educational gaps related to diagnostics.

Internal Coordination and Execution

  • Work with the Area Business Manager to identify key educational opportunities and strategic priorities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of brand strategies and ensure proper positioning of Zoetis products.
  • Support and drive the execution of the strategic vision for Zoetis Diagnostics.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across all functions to ensure effective execution of educational initiatives.

External Collaboration and Execution

  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment of diagnostic strategies with overall commercial objectives.
  • Engage with key customers to foster mutual growth in diagnostic services.
  • Contribute to the development of Key Opinion Leader strategies.
  • Represent Zoetis credibly within key customer environments.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • In-depth technical knowledge of Zoetis diagnostic products.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and adaptability to change.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficient in project management and detail-oriented.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn Zoetis systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of post-doctoral experience in relevant fields.
  • Board certification or advanced degrees are advantageous.
