Key Responsibilities

Medical Relationships and Education

  • Collaborate with the Area Business Manager and local sales teams to create educational initiatives for key clients, ensuring they are well-informed on critical therapeutic areas to drive sales growth.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with medical leaders in key accounts.
  • Work alongside the U.S. Diagnostics Sales Lead and other teams to develop effective educational and promotional programs for clients.
  • Facilitate the integration of Zoetis diagnostic products and services within client operations.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify educational gaps and develop key opinion leaders to advocate for Zoetis diagnostics.

Internal Coordination and Execution

  • Partner with the Area Business Manager to identify strategic educational opportunities within key accounts.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of brand strategies to ensure proper positioning of Zoetis products.
  • Support the execution of the strategic vision for Zoetis Diagnostics.
  • Foster communication and collaboration across various functions to ensure cohesive execution of educational initiatives.

External Collaboration and Strategy

  • Align with U.S. Diagnostics Sales and Marketing Leadership to ensure strategic plans are consistent with overall commercial objectives.
  • Engage with key clients to develop mutually beneficial growth strategies.
  • Collaborate on medical communication strategies with various teams to enhance client engagement.
  • Represent Zoetis credibly at professional meetings and events.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Comprehensive understanding of Zoetis diagnostic offerings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in clinical practice, academia, research, or industry.
  • Board certification or advanced degrees (e.g., MS, MBA) are advantageous.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
