Role Overview: As an Assembly Operator I, you will be responsible for assembling various components into finished products across multiple production lines, ensuring that standard documentation, quality, and production rates are achieved under the guidance of the Production Team Leader/Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of assembly equipment in a controlled production environment.
- Manually handle delicate components regularly.
- Work with small devices to load fixtures and process equipment.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations related to tolerances and dimensions.
- Conduct in-process visual inspections, with and without the aid of microscopes, in accordance with established requirements.
- Accurately document all work performed on inspection reports and customer travelers.
- Maintain reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance as an essential function of the role.
- Adhere to company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while managing multiple tasks.
- Capability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail is necessary.
- Compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is required to ensure products are consistently produced and controlled according to the Quality Management System (QMS).
Preferred Skills:
- Adaptability to changing environments and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ISO & FDA requirements is a plus.
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles is beneficial.
- Good interpersonal skills to foster cooperative and effective working relationships.
