Job Summary

Cirtec Medical is seeking a skilled Assembly Operations Specialist to join our team in Lowell, MA. As an Assembly Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling a range of components into finished goods across one or more production lines, ensuring standard documentation, quality, and production rates are met under the direction of the Production Team Leader/Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of wafer fab equipment in a clean room production environment.
  • Manually manipulate fragile wafers on a regular basis.
  • Work with small devices to load fixtures and process equipment.
  • Make basic measurements and math calculations relative to tolerances, dimensions.
  • Perform in-process visual inspections with and without the use of microscopes in accordance with established requirements.
  • Accurately document all work performed on inspection reports and customer travelers.
  • Perform various dimensional inspections using specific gauges, dimensional inspection systems, verniers, and micrometers.
  • Reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Comply with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED mandatory; entry-level position with no prior experience necessary.
  • 1+ years of experience in the medical device industry and manufacturing required.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple tasks, lift up to 10 pounds frequently, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; strong attention to detail essential.
  • Compliance with CGMP standards for consistent product quality.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comply with all current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements to ensure products are consistently produced and controlled according to the Quality Management System (QMS).
