Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate boilers and related equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation
  • Read meters and gauges to monitor system performance and detect potential issues
  • Adjust controls and open/close valves as needed to maintain optimal system performance
  • Monitor operating systems to detect faulty equipment and take corrective action

Requirements:

  • Valid Massachusetts 2nd Class Steam Fireman (for Steam Fireman I) or 1st Class Steam Fireman license (for Steam Fireman II) pursuant to Chapter 146 of the Massachusetts General Laws

Working Conditions:

This is a first shift position, working Friday-Tuesday from 6am-2pm. You will be working in a fast-paced facilities environment, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
