We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our team at GreenState Credit Union. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal communications strategy that inspires and engages our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Communications Strategies: Collaborate with key stakeholders to create and implement communications plans that support team engagement and alignment to the organizational mission, vision, values, strategy, and brand.
- Oversee Company Correspondence and Content: Manage and coordinate company-wide emails, internal news updates, corporate and departmental newsletters, and other communication channels to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Design and Develop Communication Approaches: Create and execute a corporate communications plan to build positive awareness and ensure that all materials present a clear, unified, and positive message for the organization.
- Manage Internal Communication Channels: Oversee GreenState's evolving suite of internal communication channels and tools, while maintaining awareness of trends in communication platforms for consideration as part of the internal communications mix.
- Act as Internal Communications Point Person: Serve as the primary contact for all major internal announcements and provide counsel on the need for and compose draft announcements, speeches, and presentations for senior management.
- Establish User and Engagement Metrics: Develop and track metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications and make recommendations for improvement.
- Education: Four-year college degree in Journalism or Communications, or related field required, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Five-to-seven years of related experience (preferably in a financial institution) writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent organization and project management skills, ability to create and translate editorial content into a visually appealing finished product, and outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Qualifications: Ability to work as part of a team, work independently, and build trust and maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Reports to the Chief People Officer.
