Energy Outreach Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Outreach Energy Specialist to join our team at California Energy Builders. As an Outreach Energy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting renewable energy and educating homeowners about the benefits of solar energy.
Key Responsibilities:- Homeowner Engagement: Conduct outreach activities to connect with qualified homeowners through various channels, including door-to-door canvassing, community events, and online platforms.
- Education: Inform homeowners about the benefits of solar energy and how it can reduce their energy costs and environmental footprint.
- Program Information: Explain the details of renewable energy discount programs and incentives that can help homeowners save on their solar installations.
- Consultations: Schedule and conduct in-home consultations to assess homeowners' energy needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate new leads through various outreach strategies and maintain a robust pipeline of potential customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and installation teams to ensure a smooth transition from consultation to installation.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and follow up with homeowners to address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with homeowners.
- Motivation: Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or outreach is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of solar energy systems and renewable energy programs is a plus.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is required for conducting in-home consultations and outreach activities.
