The Business Transformation Project Leader is instrumental in partnering with the Transformation office to effectively strategize and guide the execution of large-scale, complex business transformation initiatives. Reporting directly to the Head of Transformation, this role emphasizes the management and execution of organizational projects. The Project Leader will oversee ongoing transformation initiatives, maintain project schedules, identify and elaborate on potential risks, issues, and dependencies, and facilitate meetings to drive program outcomes. The individual will develop and implement project strategies, objectives, and timelines, tracking project progress to ensure milestone achievements.

This position is essential in fostering effective communication and adaptability within intricate and evolving environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing transformation projects within the organization.
  • Creating and executing comprehensive project plans, objectives, and timelines.
  • Coordinating cross-departmental teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring project delivery aligns with established time, budget, and quality standards.
  • Identifying and mitigating program risks and challenges.
  • Collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams.
  • Enhancing communication among stakeholders.
  • Applying project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Monitoring project budgets and financial resources.
  • Recognizing opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance or project management.
  • Strong proficiency in budgeting and financial oversight.
  • Experience in accounting or financial reporting for public companies.
  • Expertise in risk assessment and management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management processes and familiarity with relevant tools.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex, organization-wide initiatives amidst uncertainty.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and change with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • PMP or Agile certifications are advantageous.
