Position: ERP Project Manager (Contract)

Location: Hybrid

Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the implementation of Workday's HCM and Finance ERP modules. This role involves collaboration with the implementation vendor and the Project Management team to ensure successful deployment and integration of the ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system functionalities.
  • Manage multiple project streams involving various vendors and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated project schedule.
  • Oversee the timely completion of tasks assigned to vendors.
  • Document support procedures for both internal and external users.
  • Ensure quality and thoroughness of business processes and workflows.
  • Review vendor deliverables for quality assurance prior to approval.
  • Establish and maintain a RAID log for project risks and issues.
  • Create and manage a RACI matrix in collaboration with vendors and the Project Management team.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly status reports on project progress.
  • Document and manage changes in project scope, ensuring adherence to change control processes.
  • Communicate any project delays or obstacles to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates to Project Management and Vendor Management teams regarding vendor performance.
  • Oversee the budget and financial aspects of the project.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure effective communication among team members.
  • Supervise system configuration according to business requirements.
  • Lead testing and validation efforts to ensure successful system configuration and performance.
  • Ensure resolution of defects during the testing phase by the vendor.
  • Collaborate with Change Management and Agency Readiness teams to ensure effective training and implementation of the ERP project.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or IT consulting.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale implementation projects with multiple vendors.
  • Experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams.
  • Ability to engage senior management across various agencies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) is preferred.
  • Project Management certification is a plus.
