Job Overview

The Wellness Reception Specialist at Method Co. is tasked with delivering outstanding service to guests utilizing the fitness center, spa amenities, grab-and-go refreshments, and locker facilities. This position demands a friendly and professional attitude, exceptional customer service capabilities, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests to the fitness center and spa, creating a warm and inviting environment.
  • Facilitate check-in and check-out procedures for fitness and spa services, ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Provide accurate information regarding fitness facilities, spa offerings, food and beverage selections, and locker room amenities.
  • Manage spa service bookings, coordinating with spa personnel to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Process transactions for grab-and-go food and beverage items, maintaining precise records and ensuring proper cash handling.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the fitness center, spa, and locker room areas, upholding the company’s high standards.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain inventory of spa products, towels, and other amenities, coordinating with housekeeping and purchasing teams to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Assist in organizing and executing special events or promotions within the fitness and spa areas.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including sanitation and hygiene practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a customer service role, ideally within a luxury hotel or spa setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and hotel management software.
  • Familiarity with fitness equipment, spa services, and food and beverage handling is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
