Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant 2 position serves Operations and Services in Residential Services and has a strong focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to students, families, and colleagues through various communication channels.
  • Information Management: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date information to ensure seamless communication and decision-making.
  • Supervision: Supervise and train student staff members and provide guidance to professional staff colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Coordination: Coordinate travel arrangements, calendar management, and foot traffic within the shared office suite.
  • Student Services: Contribute to residential dining changes and provide administrative support to housing processes.
  • Documentation and Databases: Utilize technology to record and retrieve data, and provide administrative support to housing processes.
  • Website Maintenance: Contribute to content maintenance for relevant web pages within Operations and Services, Residential Services.
  • Accounting and HR: Enter, track, and maintain documentation and logs of financial transactions, and support unit with HR processes and paperwork.
Requirements
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2 years of administrative support or other relevant experience required.
  • Skills: Intermediate knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software programs required.
